Cam Vale Group of Parishes includes the villages of Holnest, Leweston, Lillington and Longburton, located in the picturesque Blackmore Vale and close to the renowned Abbey Town of Sherborne.

Council Elections 2024

Elections were held 2nd May 2024 for

• Dorset Council - 84 member seats
• Town & Parish Councils – Cam Vale Parish Council – 9 vacancies
• Police & Crime Commissioner

All 4 parish elections in the Cam Vale group were Uncontested as nominations matched vacancies, therefore no voting was required.

One week before each of the council meetings the agenda for the meeting and a copy of the draft minutes of the previous meeting will be posted. You will then see the matters that are currently being discussed by the council and decide if you wish to have input, either by attending the meeting to give your opinion in the public participation slot, or by contacting the Clerk or one of your Councillors in advance of the meeting.
